We love a niche product!

One of our favorite kinds of projects is when its end-use is VERY specific, and the stakes feel real.

With mass products, there are established patterns and formulas you can refer to. But when you’re designing for a specialized industry, community input becomes everything.

There’s a real opportunity in niche products. Not only is the insight deeper, but the users are usually enthusiastic and super eager to participate. They want to weigh in, stress test, and help shape something that genuinely improves their workflow and experience.

It does add time to the front end, and the middle, and the end… more research, more questions, more real-life testing. But these collaborative layers are one of my favorite parts of the process. Getting into the weeds with founders and users to define what’s actually needed, then building around a very specific use case.

By the end, you’re not only launching a better product. You’ve built a super-user base that feels heard and invested.
