TGA Show & Being in the Room

In a single day, we had conversations that would have taken weeks or months to arrange otherwise.

Want to meet a founder? They're there.
The designer? There.
The president or CEO? Also there.

Back from our first Travel Goods Association show, and the value of being in the room was clear.

As a team that works remotely most of the time, we love focused, independent work. But there's still no substitute for face-to-face conversations.

We heard the stories behind the products, what people are worried about, and what they're building toward.

A low lift, quick start tip if you're heading to a show for the first time: make a couple appointments ahead of time, then leave space to wander. Some of the best conversations happened when we turned down a random aisle - and leaned into the awkwardness ;) People really did want to talk.
